For agentsUpdated

These packages throw ordinary Error/TypeError/RangeError with a message that names the hook and the fix. They have no SHADOW_ code.

Convex hooks outside ConvexProvider#

useConvex, useQuery and usePaginatedQuery (and so the hooks built on useConvex) throw Error: useQuery() must be used inside <ConvexProvider>. Render the component under ConvexProvider (or check that its module is not loaded twice)., naming the hook that was called; useConvexAuth names <ConvexProviderWithAuth>. The parenthesis is the duplicate-module case from DUPLICATE_CORE above: a second copy of the Convex package has its own context. usePaginatedQuery throws RangeError: usePaginatedQuery(): initialNumItems must be an integer of at least 1. and loadMore(n) throws RangeError for n below 1 or not an integer.

Clerk configuration errors#

useUser(), useAuth() and the other hooks and components throw Error: useUser must be used inside <ClerkProvider>. outside a provider. ClerkProvider throws TypeError: ClerkProvider: publishableKey must be a Clerk publishable key (pk_test_... or pk_live_...). for a malformed key; the message never echoes the key. Server side, clerkMiddleware(options) validates its options once at startup: a missing or malformed secretKey (sk_test_/sk_live_), publishableKey, authorizedParties or jwtKey throws a TypeError that names the setting. requireAuth throws TypeError: clerk: signInUrl must be a relative path (/sign-in) or an https:// URL. for a protocol-relative or javascript: target. setActive() before Clerk has loaded throws Error: setActive() called before Clerk has loaded.
